When we had the idea to start this business, we had neither the skills, time, nor money.
HOW THE
STORY BEGINS
We were university students with no proper understanding of this new digital landscape, not even enough time to get 8h of sleep and just enough money to pay rent at our dorms.
But we were hungry for purpose, so we kept working out this business idea we had until we graduated with the right skills, learned how to properly manage our time and saved up. Thing is, by the time we were ready to start, we were completely burnt out.
That’s when we realised what we’re truly passionate about: using our skills to help entrepreneurs, showing them productivity doesn’t have to be toxic and making it all affordable.
We want to be the support for you that we wish we had.
WHO WE SERVE
About The Journey establishes and elevates small businesses lead by Gen-z and Millennials. These are young entrepreneurs who understand that keeping business and mindfulness separate is a way of the past. They need branding and marketing to elevate their business, but won’t settle for soulless entrepreneurship and $2.000 course scams.
In true younger generation nature, we want to not only be financially stable, but also make a difference in the world doing what we love. ATJ is by young entrepreneurs, for young entrepreneurs. Because honestly, no one understands us better.

SERVE THEM
At About The Journey we aim to positively change the digital entrepreneurship and marketing landscape. The digital entrepreneurial space is finally moving away from hustle culture and embracing mindfulness, and we want to be part of that movement. The usual order of things is being turned upside down as we speak, and the focus is moving from profit to purpose, which is exactly what we are all about.
Don’t get us wrong, profit is and always will be important. However, the customer relationships needed to attain profit cannot be built on profit itself. Valuable customer relationships are built on purpose, authenticity and intention, which helps them trust your business to fulfil their needs and ultimately leads to continuous growth and, of course - profit.
Focusing on purpose positively impacts your business, and even better, there is no denying it betters our society as well. We believe Gen-z and Millennials are the perfect fit for this new entrepreneurial landscape and want to see our own succeed!

We travel from city to city while running our business. We could be in Antwerp, Belgium where we were born and raised. Sydney, Australia where we’re currently residing. Nice, France which is our favourite getaway. London, UK where we eventually want to settle. We’ve also got Japan and New York on our bucket list.
